My publications include the monograph The History and Ethics of Authenticity (2020), the translation of Watsuji Tetsuro's "America's National Character" in Philosophy East and West (2021), and the research article "Overcoming Anthropocentrism" in Environmental Ethics (2022).

Community Activities Outside University 【 display / non-display

  • Environmental ethics and disaster resolution,2022/09

    Alongside Professor Kono Tetsuya, Professor Kiji Masahiko, a guest speaker from Africa, and students and graduate students from Rikkyo University, we initiated a week-long workshop on environmental ethics and disaster management in Rikuzentakata and Kessennuma. At Rikuzentakata satellite campus, we engaged with students from Rikuzentakata high school, giving guest lectures on environmental ethics, facilitated philosophical dialogue amongst students, and engaged with local citizens on the topic of disaster management. We also gave lectures on environmental ethics and facilitated philosophical dialogue amongst students in Kesennuma primary school.

    Introduced my research on environmental ethics to school students at Nirayama High school, and involved students in group discussion, and learning activities.
